Late last night

I read Medicine Road, by Charles de Lint, who I've been meaning to read for some time. It was nice but on the slight side. I will get his other books, though. Any recommendations?

    I've always found his stuff a little bit too feel-good and twee. But The Onion Girl was supposedly a little bit darker, so that one may be different.

    Thanks--I'll check it out. A book I liked rather more that was in a similar vein was Terry Pratchett's "The Wee Free Men," did you read it? Very appealing.
