- I have published three novels and two academic books; the two books I've just finished writing are "Notes on Style" and "The Magic Circle" (formerly known as "The Bacchae on Morningside Heights"). Next up: "The ABCs of the Novel." I teach in the Department of English and Comparative Literature at Columbia University.
