Everyone is interested in pigeons

Vanessa Collingridge at the Scotsman on the archives of the John Murray publishing house, which recently arrived at the National Library of Scotland. (NB article is interesting but has some minor inaccuracies--Jane Austen for instance was certainly not one of Murray's "four o'clock friends"...)

    It's a dark, rock-horror, erotic adaptation of the classic Dickens novel. My friend is actually in the show. Do check it out if you ever find the time/interest - don't know if musicals are your thing (they aren't mine and i'm going for moral (e?) support)
