I did not think it was possible to love Ricky Jay any more than I already did, but this show looks great! Do you remember Mark Singer's New Yorker profile of him several years ago (collected in Character Studies)? It's wonderful.
I have published four novels and four books of literary criticism; I'm currently at work on a book called FOR THE LOVE OF BROKEN THINGS: MY FATHER, EDWARD GIBBON AND THE RUINS OF ROME. I teach in the Department of English and Comparative Literature at Columbia University.
I haven't seen the book he published of these broadsides, but I really love his Jay's Journal of Anomalies.
