Mowgli children

Nico sends a disturbing but fascinating story about a Moscow "werewolf boy".

I have read many very interesting books about feral children, but I do not think there is a better one than Harlan Lane's The Wild Boy of Aveyron. That book was a huge influence on me, I read it at a formative age!

  1. I agree that there is something both disturbing and compelling about the idea and reality of feral children.

Do you know Truffaut's L'Enfant Sauvage (The Wild Child)? That was my introduction to the Aveyron boy. There is also Kaspar Hauser (He was also the subject of a film, this one by Werner Herzog).
