A benefit

dedicated to the memory of my friend Helen Hill (proceeds will go to her son's college fund): First Fig and featured artists at Joe's Pub on Monday, March 12 at 9:30pm.

There's a lot of Helen-related stuff up at YouTube by now, including some footage of the jazz funeral held recently for Helen in New Orleans. (The end point of the parade was the Mother-in-Law Lounge--I went there in 2003 with Paul and Helen, it was one of my favorite things on that trip.)
