Sarah Weinman has a great interview with Richard Powers at the Galleycat blog--and the good news is that Powers has won a National Book Award for The Echo Maker, and so has M. T. Anderson for The Astonishing Life of Octavian Nothing--these are both of course on my short list of favorite books of 2006, how delightful to see virtue rewarded...
